Backyardigans!

Brent was given tickets to go see the Backyardigans at the Honeywell Center in Wabash. Of course, we took Maddison and Mackenzee. It's quite a drive, but the Honeywell Center is a really nice place. This was so geared to the kids. As they walked in, all the ushers and greeters made it a point to talk to all the kids and really make them feel special. Each child was given a cardboard "shield" that they used during the show.

This event was hosted by 97.3 WMEE and when the announcers came on stage Mackenzee said, "Hey, there's my mom's favorite people!". She's seen them before at other events and hears their names all the time when Sara tries to win tickets to different things.

The girls really got into this show...it was an interactive show with the characters actually talking to the audience and asking questions to which the kids would yell their answers, then the character would say "WHAT, I can't hear you!", and the kids would scream!
