On Thursday, Maddison and Mackenzee asked me what the 4th of July is. I told them that people watch fireworks and have cookouts. They left shortly after that and Sara called me to ask what was going on on the 4th. She said the girls insisted that I was picking them up and having a cookout! Gotta love it! So, of course, we had a cookout!
We then went over to the next neighborhood where Brent knows someone from work and it was so fun. There were so many fireworks that Mackenzee said it was like Disneyworld. It really was fun and we met a lot of people from the neighborhood next to us. One of the guys that was there owns a fireworks company and it took eight people to carry everything he brought! They set them off over the pond and it was a fantastic display! The parties and the fireworks were in everyone's backyards around the pond. They said they have cookouts every weekend.
