Birthday Party

Maddison and Mackenzee (and Brent and I!) were invited to their new friend Donovan's birthday party today. They looked forward to it all week long. Donovan collects snow globes and his favorite is the Wizard of Oz. We were told no presents, only snow globes. Wow, do you know how hard it is to find snow globes in Fort Wayne? Well, it is!

His cakes were snow globes....so cool....someone worked really hard on those. The Wizard of Oz figures inside the glass were edible too.

There were rides, the exact same ones the girls rode at the Germanfest on Chicken Dance day. There was a ferris wheel, a merry-go-round, and airplanes that went up and around, and the moon walk. They had the same balloon guy there that was at Germanfest too. And, of course, their trampoline, that was a favorite of all.

There was a pinata full of candy and more than 100 people. Lots and lots of food too.

Everyone had an awesome time. The girls made all kinds of new friends too. Donovan is now 5!
