Summer in a weekend

Okay, so you would never know by the temperature in Ft. Wayne the last few days that we actually had a summer in a weekend! It was hot and sunny and beautiful. It was made even better because Maddison and Mackenzee spent the weekend!

Here they are waiting for the water in this fantabulously large pool to fill up a little more.

Here they are showing me how they can swim. Actually they go to the Y three or four times a week for swim lessons and I hear they are getting quite good at it. They both can go down the big twisty slide and they can swim around like little fish. Mackenzee was even showing me how she practices her "scoops"!

Brent brought home a dump truck load of mulch and some long awaited trim. Here, the girls were helping him.

I had picked up some Trix yogurt and Maddison noticed on the package that you could put a stick in the top and freeze it for a yogurt pop, so that's just what we did. All afternoon and into the evening she had me checking the yogurt. Finally, at about 9:30, it was frozen! They loved it.

Here they are watching Brent tip the dump truck so he could get to the mulch. Notice the look of surprise on Maddison's face!

Here's the sweeties having a blast in the pool. They play together so good.
